A lifelong resident of the Midwest, Chuck has lived and worked in central Illinois and St. Louis. He earned a master of architecture degree (1982) and a bachelor of science in architectural studies degree (1980), both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Chuck started his own architectural practice in 1987. Chuck was an adjunct faculty member in the UI School of Architecture from 1987 - 2010 and periodically led design studios and taught a construction technology course.
