The Board of Certified Safety Professionals is an international certifying agency. Our services to BCSP included site selection, architectural, and interior design of a new 14,000 SF facility in Champaign IL.

The building takes full advantage of its adjacency to a park. Views are directed through the building to park and lake scenes.

The plan is arranged to encourage communication between various departments within the organization. A collaborative zone includes formal and informal meeting areas, the library, break room and work room. 

BCSP desired to have a professional image worthy of an international organization. Interior spaces include light wells extending to a roof clerestory and quality interior finishes.

The building’s low profile fits into the surrounding suburban architectural mix of offices, retail stores, and residences. Sustainable features include a geothermal heat-pump HVAC system, an abundance of natural light and sustainable materials.
