Spaces | Susan & Clint Atkins Baseball Training Facility

Reifsteck Wakefield Fanning was contracted to design “twin” indoor training facilities for the Baseball and Softball programs at the University of Illinois. These facilities both include complete infields for the respective teams, with playing surfaces that replicate the outdoor fields. Each facility has multiple batting cages that can be lowered in different configurations to
accommodate multiple training options.

Overhead doors are incorporated into each building to allow indoor-outdoor training. Each building also includes restroom and storage rooms. HVAC systems are available to heat and cool the facilities when needed.
